Quality and Food Safety

Lafuente Group has established a Quality Policy with the primary goal of achieving total customer satisfaction through a continuous commitment to quality improvement and an unwavering dedication to food safety.

The traceability of our processes — from dairy farms to the final market delivery of our cheeses — is verified, guaranteed, and always available to our clients. This is ensured through detailed analyses and controls that allow us to consistently meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.

We operate a fully equipped laboratory, staffed by specialized personnel, and supported by an extensive plan of tests and controls, verified in collaboration with LILC (Laboratorio Interprofesional Lechero de Cantabria), a nationally recognized reference laboratory.

Since 2004, our facilities and processes have undergone rigorous annual audits in quality and food safety, enabling us to maintain and strengthen our achievements under the BRC Standard, where we have been certified at the highest level (AA Grade).
