IWS

Individually Wrapped Slices

From the highest quality cheese, we produce individually wrapped slices presented in different formats, packaging, and varieties, such as Classic, Light, Lactose Free, Goat Cheese... always ready for use in hot or cold sandwiches, Tex-Mex cooking, hamburgers, etc.

BASIC

Slices / Grated strips

The widest assortment in natural cheeses, melted cheeses and analogue cheese products. Especially arranged to be sold in supermarkets, Horeca channel and specific developments for the food service industry.

CREAM

Cheese

Obtained from high quality cheeses: Camembert, blue cheese, Cheddar, goat cheese, and semi-cured cheese. For retail sale and for use in the food industry, with multiple applications in the home kitchen, for instance as an ingredient in soups and pasta sauces, as a filling for sandwiches and croissants, for nachos, and for various pastries.

With the finest goat’s milk, we offer a distinguished selection of cheeses in all varieties: acid-set, cheese, mold ripened, fresh cheese, and pressed cheese. All offered in different flavors (natural, fine herbs, paprika) for many different ranges of use –household, hospitality, industry– and presented in either vacuum or iqf packaging (the latter is a system of long term conservation specially designed for use in the hospitality and food industries).

COMPANY

Lafuente Group is a 100% Spanish company which makes development and constant innovation its raison d´être. Our main goal is to achieve and carry out specific products which meet our customers and market needs.

We have five production plants: four in Spain. Our headquartes are in Heras, Cantabria, Spain. Built in 2004, the plant has 9,000 m2 of floor area in facilities covering 20,000 m2 and houses both our head office and our cheese packaging plant. There are three production plants in Spain: Heras and Arriondas (also located in Cantabria) and the recently acquired in Jumilla, Murcia.

WHERE WE ARE

Lafuente Group has a team exclusively dedicated to thoroughly researching new developments in cheese, with the methods and technology needed to carry out this work. Our modern testing facilities support, complement and reinforce the production of our high quality cheese, ensuring that we achieve the goals we set. Research and innovation are our two key points.

I+D+I

We care for the environment and our natural resources as well as the health and safety of our workers, with regularly updated occupational health and safety plans and by observing and defending equal rights at all times. We have a fully equipped laboratory, specialised staff and an exhaustive analysis and control plan, which is verified by the LILC (Spanish acronym for the Inter-professional Milk Laboratory of Cantabria), the laboratory which sets the standard at the national level. We implement all controls from reception of raw materials to final marketing of our products, ensuring full traceability for each lot that reaches the consumer. To ensure compliance with these commitments we are certified in BRC FOOD, IFS (food safety) and ISO 14001 (environment), the latter recently obtained.
